AI CFO software for Saudi startups

ZeroFin Mr. CFO is AI CFO software that answers questions such as "how long will our cash last?" from your own books, in SAR and in plain English. Saudi startups use it for management numbers alongside a ZATCA-compliant invoicing solution, because ZeroFin does not issue ZATCA e-invoices.

What does AI CFO software do for a Saudi startup?

It gives founders finance answers on demand. Instead of waiting for month-end reports, you ask how much cash you have, how fast it is going and who owes you money, and you get the figures with a short explanation. ZeroFin Mr. CFO reads your ZeroFin ledger to answer.

In Saudi Arabia this is a separate job from compliance. ZATCA's rules decide how you issue invoices. Mr. CFO is about what your numbers say once the transactions are in your books.

What can I ask ZeroFin Mr. CFO in SAR?

Example answers are illustrative. Real answers come from your own books.

Net burn is the average monthly fall in your cash over the last six complete months, leaving out money raised from investors or loans (or since your first transaction, if you have less history). Runway is your cash divided by net burn. You can try your own figures in SAR with the startup runway calculator, and read how burn and runway work in AED and SAR.

AI CFO or fractional CFO in Saudi Arabia?

Use software for the questions you ask every week, and a person for the decisions that need judgement, relationships or a signature. A fractional CFO is the better choice when you are raising money, building forecasts, dealing with lenders or preparing for an audit.

Saudi firms rarely publish their fractional CFO prices, so ask for quotes. As a rough reference, CFO Centre publishes UAE retainers of AED 15,000 to 60,000 a month for about 10 to 40 hours, roughly SAR 15,300 to 61,300 (est., converted at the currency pegs). ZeroFin Growth costs about SAR 94 a month.

Bring in a person when you need to:

  • Raise a round, prepare investor updates or negotiate terms.
  • Build a budget, forecast or scenarios. ZeroFin does not forecast.
  • Prepare VAT and zakat returns. Your accountant does this from your records.
  • Prepare financial statements for filing or audit.
  • Decide how to keep Arabic records in the Kingdom.
